Tool control foam

Tool box foam inserts that make every tool visible, protected, and easy to return.

Tool box foam inserts help teams protect tools, control inventory, and spot missing items quickly. They are used in repair kits, aviation maintenance, field service cases, manufacturing tool drawers, and professional sets where organization matters as much as cushioning.

Tool Box Foam Inserts

Capabilities

  • Two-color EVA tool control foam
  • Custom cavities for wrench, socket, plier, driver, and gauge sets
  • Drawer liners, portable case inserts, and layered trays
  • CNC-cut prototypes and repeat production

Tool control layouts

Two-color foam is often used so a missing tool leaves a visible contrast layer. Cavity shapes can follow the exact tool outline or use simplified profiles for faster removal. Finger cutouts, labels, and spacing should be planned before cutting.

Case and drawer fit

A tool insert must fit the drawer or box as well as the tools. Send the inner length, width, depth, lid clearance, and any corner radius or hinge obstruction. For portable cases, product weight and drop risk also matter.

What to send

A tool list, layout photo, case size, quantity, and desired color are enough for a first quote. For precise kits, send scans or top-down photos with scale references.

Can you make shadow board foam?

Yes. Two-color EVA foam is suitable for shadow board and tool control inserts.

Can you cut cavities for irregular tools?

Yes. Send photos, drawings, or samples so the cavity can be designed for removal and retention.

Do you supply foam only or finished kits?

The first offer is custom foam inserts. Finished kit assembly depends on project scope and sourcing requirements.
